Martinsville, VA (July 14, 2017) The Martinsville-Henry County Economic Development Corporation’s Small Business Division will be offering a workshop to help businesses with effective networking, partnering and follow-up techniques on Thursday, July 27 from noon to 2 p.m. at New College Institute, located at 191 Fayette Street, Martinsville.
“In today’s economy, marketing budgets for many businesses have been limited. In a smaller community like ours, sometimes networking, partnering with complementing businesses and organizations are great ways to market a business to get new customers. Regular follow-ups on those contacts can also seal a deal,” says Valerie Harper, EDC Small Business Director.
Sandra Tanner, Development Specialist for Virginia Corporation, will use interactive activities to show participants how to boost sales through these marketing methods.
This free event is open to the public and includes lunch; however, registration is requested.
Registration for the workshop is available by calling (276) 403-5940 or by visiting www.YesMartinsville.com/Events.
