Free Marketing Seminar Offered for Businesses

Martinsville, VA (June 3, 2016) – The Martinsville-Henry County Economic Development Corporation’s Small Business Division will host a free marketing seminar for businesses on Wednesday, June 15th from 12-2PM at the New College Institute (191 Fayette Street, Martinsville). 

Marketing is one of the most important factors in the success of a business. Unfortunately, many businesses underutilize it and/or underestimate its potential impact. Guest speaker Beth Deatherage of HD Web Studio will cover ten easy marketing strategies that can benefit almost any business.

Participants are welcome to bring business cards, brochures and flyers to share as this will also be a networking opportunity for aspiring entrepreneurs and existing businesses.

This training opportunity is part of the monthly Small Business Focus Group Meeting series offered by the EDC's Small Business Division. This series is designed to provide entrepreneurs with technical training and business networking.
