Oct 28, 2010 $ 150,000 over 3 years to the Weldon Cooper Center for Public Service at the University of Virginia for Enhancing Arts, Culture, and Humanities and Improving Cooperation in Southern Virginia
Aug 6, 2005 $ 166,316 over 1 year to support development programs for citizens of and government officials in Martinsville and Henry County. The Weldon Cooper Center is a public policy resource for public officials, private sector leaders and citizens of Virginia. In the long term, this initiative should provide lasting partnerships throughout the community to address issues of importance to this region.
