The Harvest Foundation seeks to promote the creation of exceptional educational opportunities through a number of academic, citizenship, and vocational development programs. The Harvest Foundation is dedicated to preparing our community for academic achievement; through education, Martinsville and Henry County can achieve health, prosperity, and excellence.
Grantmaking Areas
Academic- To help children and adults develop the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in life by supporting schools, nonprofit organizations, and institutes of higher education in their efforts to provide quality education.
Citizenship- To provide individuals and organizations the knowledge and skills they need to make informed decisions on issues that impact their civic life.
Vocational- To promote the community’s overall human capital by creating opportunities for individuals to obtain additional skills through vocational training, entrepreneurial training, and small business management.
