The Harvest Foundation seeks to improve overall health outcomes for the community by seeking to prevent health problems before they arise, and improving access to care for vulnerable populations. The Harvest Foundation is dedicated to providing support for initiatives that promote the health, wellness and active living of those who make Martinsville and Henry County home.

Grantmaking Areas

Prevention- To prevent health problems before they arise by supporting programs and organizations that provide services in disease prevention including: dental heath; physical fitness and nutrition; health monitoring; and substance abuse prevention.

Access to Care- To provide care to the medically indigent by supporting programs and organizations that: identify the community’s health needs; and provide access to health care for the uninsured and underinsured.
