The Harvest Foundation seeks to promote the creation of exceptional educational opportunities through a number of academic, citizenship, and vocational development programs. The Harvest Foundation is dedicated to preparing our community for academic achievement; through education, Martinsville and Henry County can achieve health, prosperity, and excellence.
Community Vitality
The Harvest Foundation seeks to improve the quality of life in Martinsville and Henry County by: supporting services to the disadvantaged, increasing community economic opportunity, and making the community a desirable place to live, work, and play. The priority area of community vitality is quite broad and encompasses support for a large variety of studies, initiatives, long-term programs, and coalition-building activities. The Harvest Foundation's ultimate goal in this area is to sustain a continuously improving quality of life that helps make our community a choice place to live for all residents.
