For over 66 years, the Fieldale Community Center has served the community of Fieldale, Virginia. Located in the heart of the Fieldale community, the Community Center provides recreational and social opportunities to thousands of lower to middle income members, from early childhood to senior citizens. The community center was originally a YMCA but, subsequently with assistance from Fieldcrest Cannon, became a not-for-profit community service organization. The FCC promotes positive youth development and familiy stability in Fieldale and its surrounding areas by providing a physical facility and programming that unites community members through recreation. Events include: swimming, Middle School After 3 Program, yoga classes, tee-ball, and more.
