The Henry County-Martinsville Health Department serves as the headquarters of West Piedmont Health District. This district is one of 35 districts recognized by the Virginia Department of Health. With a mission to protect and promote the health of our residents, the health department engages in educating the public about healthy lifestyle choices, emergency preparedness, and health threats such as chronic diseases.
