New School Leases Offices in Martinsville

The newly named Institute of Integrated and Applied Studies announced today that it will locate its headquarters in downtown Martinsville at the West Piedmont Business Development Center at 22 East Church Street. The institute will rent a suite of seven offices and share the business center's videoconferencing space, classrooms and other support facilities. |

Education Summit to be held at Martinsville High School

On Tuesday, January 20, all professional staff of The Henry County Schools, The Martinsville City Schools and The Carlisle School - more than eleven hundred in total - will gather at Martinsville High School for a day-long Education Summit to formally begin a five-year crash effort to improve the approaches and strategies used by teachers in reading and math. |
