In only a short time since its creation in 2002, the Harvest Foundation of the Piedmont has made a big impact on its area of service, the Martinsville-Henry County area of south central Virginia. Now, in its boldest move yet, the Foundation has issued a $50 million challenge grant to the State of Virginia to build a new, public, four-year college in or near Martinsville.
